DEPA revealed that Thailand’s IT market will grow more than 13 percent in 2019 to value at 527 billion baht.

The Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA) revealed that Thailand’s information technology (IT) market will grow more than 13 percent in 2019 to value at 527 billion baht by the end of this year. Hardware will be the biggest contributor at 234 billion baht, while digital services will have the highest growth of 34 percent. The key factors enabling growth are the flow of digital use in all industries, the services sector and the growing tendency for digital usage in all sectors, as well as the transformation of the IT market business from traditional to digital, which goes in line with the Thailand 4.0 scheme.
