The fossils of giant predatory dinosaur discovered in Thailand

The fossils of “Siamraptor suwati,” a newly-discovered giant predatory dinosaur, including its skull, backbone, and hip bones, were recently discovered in Nakhon Ratchasima province of Thailand. The dinosaur was named “Siamraptor suwati” in honour of Thailand as well as Mr. Suwat Liptapanlop, a Thai benefactor of the the international group of paleontologists who made the discovery. The 26-foot (8 meters) raptor is a new member of a widespread group of ancient reptiles called Carcharodontosaurids which hunt small reptiles in the early Cretaceous period.
