The Rama IX Museum, located in Klong Ha of Pathum Thani province, was officially inaugurated in December 2019. The museum is not only the largest learning centre about Thailand's environment and ecological system, but also the largest museum in Asean. The building is divided into three zones, namely, “Our Home", "Our Life" and "Our King". Each zone demonstrates the relationship between earth, human, and Thailand’s ecological system, through stories about His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and his life long work in nature conservation. Operated by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the museum was built to commemorate the late King's invaluable contribution to the application of science and technology in the development of the nation.
