Pantries of Sharing

Pantries of Sharing have been set up across Thailand to help people who are in need of necessities due to the covid-19 lockdown. The cabinets are packed with local food and essential items, namely, instant noodles, canned food, rice grains and soap bars, which are donated by neighbours in those communities. Starting with five pantries in Bangkok and Rayong province, Supakit Kulchartvijit, who initiated the project, said that now the community pantries have risen up in 44 provinces nationwide, with more than 150 cabinets.
