The Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE) has accelerated the use of “Big data” to provide information for analysis in order to formulate new agricultural policies and measures which coincide with factual information

The Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE) revealed that it has accelerated the use of “Big data” to provide information for analysis in order to formulate new agricultural policies and measures which coincide with factual information. OAE’s data has been linked with the information from the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS), and Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), making it possible to track data on production yields, time, and important production sources. The data is divided into 4 parts, including 1. Information on farmers and farmers’ institutes, 2. Information on agricultural products, 3. Information on farming areas, and 4. Information on water and irrigation system.
