DNP has launched a new trail, the "Thai-US Friendship Trail" at Khao Yai National Park.

The Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (DNP) has launched a new trail, the "Thai-US Friendship Trail" at Khao Yai National Park, where it will serve as a model learning centre for pollution control management and enhanced ecological awareness. Digital technology will also be introduced for educational purposes to aid visitors, with the new trail serving as a pilot project. Visitors will soon be able to download the department's smartphone app, which will help provide them with useful information at signal points along the trail via Bluetooth. The DNP hopes the nation's other 153 national parks will take this pilot project as a cue to follow in the track of these forward-looking developments.
