The Ministry of Public Health and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding

The Ministry of Public Health and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 14 November 2019, covering the next 3 years. Prior to the signing, on 8 November 2019, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health had a discussion with Mr. Anotnio Vitorino, Director-General of the IOM on healthcare and well-being improvement for migrants and foreign workers. The MoU is aimed at enhancing the cooperation in all aspects between both sides, including improving know-how and raise awareness of healthcare practices, promoting access to basic healthcare services and providing basic humanitarian assistance to migrants.
