A network of 30 organizations from the public, private, financial, and educational sector has joined hands to create a new incubator platform for startups called InnoSpace (Thailand) Co., Ltd., with a combined investment of 640 million baht. InnoSpace aims to create an ecosystem that fosters rise of deep tech startups from beginner businesses to the more advanced international “UNICORN” entrepreneurs (large startups that are worth more than USD 1 trillion). The goal for 2019 is to create no less than 50 startups. The most outstanding startups will be selected to compete at an international business pitching competition at Cyberport in Hong Kong in November 2019. InnoSpace will also be signing cooperation agreements with South Korean and Israeli startup agencies at the end of the year.
