The Quantum Research Unit of Chiang Mai University will function as a centre for creating technological innovations to help support businesses with potential

On August 30 2019, H.E. Mr.  Suvit Maesincee, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation  visited the Quantum Research Unit of Chiang Mai University, marking his first official event after assuming office. The Quantum Research Unit of Chiang Mai University will function as a centre for creating technological innovations to help support businesses with potential, bringing social and commercial benefits at large. The ultimate goal of the Quantum Research Unity is to help transform Thailand into a leader in quantum technology and innovation.  Operations will begin in 2020 with a funding of one billion baht.
